I'm glad you mentioned Le Mondrian in the 6th. It's also one of my favorite cafe's. When I stay in the 6th and my hotel doesn't include breakfast, I have it at the Mondrian. They have a wonderful breakfast that's half the price of Deux Maggots and the waiters are very sweet.

The Mondrian even serves Berthillion ice cream. Makes it a difficult decision between the ice cream and their hot chocolate. :-)

For those interested, the Mondrian is on the corner of Bd. St.

Germain and rue de Seine. I believe it's open 24 hours.....or at least very late and very early.
