Subject: Re: New member in New Zealand |
Hello there and thank you for taking me on. Our group (2 couples
traveling around Italy independently before and after 13 of
us
gather in our Villa on a hilla) have not reserved accommodation
in
the following places:
a. Venice - 13/16th May b. Chianti - 19/22nd May c. Naples - 2/4th June We have endeavoured to mix things up a bit for variety and some attempt at budgeting, and to this end have hotels of varying grades and a couple of B& Bs. We have reserved the following in other destinations: PARIS - Dauphine St Germaine http://www.parisby.com/dauphinestgermain/pages/profile.htm Florence -Tornabuoni Beacci http://www.florenceby.com/beaccitornabuoni/pages/faciliti.htm San Casciano dei Bagni- http://www.tuscanestates.com/tuscany_casanuova.html (absolute!!) Rome - Lungotevere Tor di Nona B& B http://www.apartment-rome.com/files/bb_averoma.html Positano - Villa Rosa http://www.villarosapositano.it We feel that views and position are most important in Venice but prefer authentic to contrived and smoke free rooms. In Chianti we are looking for easy access to a village and ease of tripping around the hilltowns. In Naples I am prepared to be surprised but not mugged!! Hope you seasoned and well informed travelers can help. Kind Regards, Deb Coates New Zealand |
