Hello Fernando, I think Dachau is worth a visit. It is a quiet, cold place and, I understand, unlike other concentration camps. While we were there, there were busloads of students learning about the past and they too were quiet and somewhat contemplative. However, you must be prepared to view jarring photos and other memorabilia in the museum. We had a car, but as I recall there is a bus stop outside the grounds and it isn't far from downtown Munich.

On a happier note, I recommend a visit to Schonbrunn while you are in Vienna. There is a bus leaving from the train station, just outside the ring road. Schonbrunn was the summer palace for the Hapsburgs and it is quite spectacular, particularly the gardens. You can easily spend an afternoon there. Lucy, Toronto
