Hi Maddy!
I love Charleston and highly recommend a daytrip there. I would go to the Market and take a carriage tour which will give you a basis to explore on. The spiels are usually canned and not that funny, but you see the houses at the level the builders did. And that is Charleston's great attraction-you can be in many of its neighborhoods and several centuries ago seems rather close. >From the middle of March to the middle of April is the house and garden tour-the South is really gorgeous in the Spring. Check the tourist web site http://charlestoncvb.com for details. I would recommend seeing the gardens and remaining plantation house wing at Middleton Plantation just outside of Charleston. I have never seen it, but the aquarium is supposed to be quite an attraction. Oh yes, great restaurants, too. Would be happy to answer more questions. Have fun, P. Miller N. Fla. |
