|Subject: Oxford and Surrounds|
Have any of you stayed in Oxford, England? I may have the opportunity to spend August there. St. Edwards School, just outside of Oxford, will be home base. Do any of you know it?
I have just begun to think about all that I will be able to see and do and would love to have the guidance of Ziners who have 'been there, done that.' What are the not-to-be-missed places to see and things to do in and around Oxford?
One thing I would LOVE to do is to attend a performance at Glyndebourne. If traveling by train (possibly) or by car, how should I plan my trip from Oxford to Glyndebourne? Any advice on Glyndebourne, aside from, Get your tickets early!
I would also like to spend a long weekend in Paris, as I'll be too close to miss the opportunity. I've heard that EasyJet is the most economical way to get from London to Paris. Is that true? I have never traversed the Chunnel and I'm attracted to that route to Paris from London simply because I just want to do it.
Thank you, in anticipation of your advice ... and TTFN,
Lesley Toronto, Canada
