Concerning clothing and weather in Europe: For most of the tourists I'd say apply the same rules as for the inhabitants of the area. Usually I try to wear what we call onion-tactic - means levels of clothing. Not one very warm jacket but a usual jacket, a pullover and a t-shirt below plus a scarf. So you can accustom your clothing for every situation. If you wear too warm single items it might be difficult to cope with the climate within the buildings, like museums e.g. The real warm clothing is appropriate for skiing or other pure outdoor activities though..... hth Baerbel (near Stuttgart, Germany) |
