I have to agree with Pat in regard to gifts from Oliviers. The

various olive oils and other foodstuff is wonderful, but I particulary enjoy the special hand, face and body cream based on olive oil. It makes a nice gift and is easy to carry.

If you follow Candice's suggestion (and you should!) to enjoy ice cream at Berthillion on the Ile St. Louis, you will find an Olivier shop on rue St. Louis just after you cross the bridge from the Ile de la Cite.
