Greetings!
Before our first trip to the UK in 1990, we purchased theatre tickets here in Canada for two (2) shows in England. We were charged $67 per ticket. We didn't gripe about it until we checked the prices at the theatres themselves, finding that the ticket price at the Box Office was just 20 Pounds. In Leistershire Square, the 'same- day 'half-price tickets' were selling for just 10 Pounds. My suggestion for everyone is to wait til you arrive in London, then try for the 'half-price' tickets. Don't waste your money buying them before you leave. Only the ticket broker makes money if you do. Peter |
