I've been to San Francisco and do know what you mean. I am finding some hotels that have outside heated pools but you still have to get from the hotel into the water. I am going to stick to a hotel that has an indoor pool. My husband and I don't really care if there's a pool or not but the kids do ;)

We honeymooned in Cape Cod in July and man was that cold. We had jackets but really didn't expect it to be that cold.
