Subject: Re: Looking for value, but yummy eating in Paris |
Greetings!
I am in agreement about Gustafson and Wells. I am going to Paris in June (Never been in high season before and somewhat dreading the crowds) and looking forward to eating well without totally breaking the bank. Some restaurants I will definitely return to are Le Maupertu (7th A, right across from Les Invalides; small, charming and very good), L'Oulette-in the 12th and worth the excursion (perhaps the most wonderful duck in the world!), Les Bookinistes in the 6th is always delicious. If I can get reservations at L'Astrance, it will be my big splurge this trip. Any inside information about best way to go about this? Cheers, Fran in Santa Fe |
