We are going April 8 - 12, over Easter weekend. Already have a room booked at the Flamingo and airfare with Spirit Airlines out of Detroit.

I'm just not sure if we should rent a car at the airport or depend on public transportation/shuttles. My husband has bad knees (knee surgery) and it is difficult for him to walk for long periods of time/distance. I was concerned that taking cabs/shuttles would end up costing us as much or more than just renting a car. Also, how is parking & traffic in Vegas?

Any suggestions on must-see or must-do things? This is his first time to Las Vegas and I haven't been there in 15 years.
