Here is a list of free things to do in Las Vegas. The new monorail will cost $3 or $5.50 for a roundtrip. It still is not running. I have to agree traffic on the Strip is terrible and taxi fares are the highest in the nation. If you do rent a car, you can valet park at any casino for $1 tip.
