The Old Trolley tour is like most city tours that offer the extra convenience to get off and in at any of their programmed stops. We took advantage of this asset by getting off at Georgetown for lunch and then at the Lincoln M. and from there walking to the Korea M.,Roosevelt M. and to the Jefferson M. May I add that we found the wooden seats of the tram extremely uncomfortable.
At night for a tour of the many monuments we made a deal with a taxi driver. He came back to the hotel to pick us up and gave us a great tour for $20.00. +tip/ As I recall most tours are over $30 per person so it was a good deal.
