Dear Ruth Marie, You will have to pay extra to video inside attractions. In same places the cost was quite a bit more, in other places you will not be able to use the video camera. Just ask and they will tell you. If it's someone you want to video ask first and go from there. I only used my 35 mm with zoom. Where do you live in Colorado? Maybe we can get together in Sept. when I take my mother to see her brother.Have a good trip. I'll be in Maui in 5 weeks. Wilma
