Subject: Re: Shopping, Dining in South America
Hi Harry,

In Buenos Aires:

For shopping try the Galerias Pacifico http://www.galeriaspacifico.com.ar a very nice and good shopping mall, right in the center of town. This shopping is located in what was a train station. It is decorated with several famous murals. Everyday they offer free guided tours.

For Italian Food try Piegari Restaurant- Calle Posadas, 1042 phone 43269430

Same area try Restaurant Harper, International food. Has a pre set menu for lunch including wine.

Bistro La Porcherie at Calle Montevideo 966 -48158314

In the area know as Puerto Madero there are several good restaurants.

For steaks and asado, I like La Cabaņa (do not remember the address) but there are several good ones. New York steaks are called Bife de Chorizo.

I always enjoy going to a restaurant called Museo Renaud, this is a very nice place next door to the Museum of Latin American Art also worth a visit.

You will have no problem in Buenos Aires there are many restaurants most of them very good and prices are incredibly

low because of the prevailing rate exchange.

Another nice shopping is called Patio Bullrich. There are many, many small shops all over town.

Good luck, Graziella, Miami Beach
