Subject: Re: bringing home the cheese
Hi Jeannine,

Last October I brought a backpack full of cheese home from France. When I took it down from the overhead compartment when we landed in Philadelphia, there was a collective, Oh, my God, what's that smell?!? I just smiled and said that one simply couldn't go to Paris without bringing cheese home. Then our connecting flight was delayed by several hours and when we finaly got to New Haven well after midnight, in my fatigue, I managed to leave my backpack with the cheese in it at the airport. When we called the airport to ask if it was still there, they said, You mean the stinky one? We searched it and it's full of CHEESE! Come get it out of here as fast as you can! And I'd been worried that Customs or the USDA would confiscate it!
