Subject: Re: UK Travels
Hi All:

We were in Edinburgh in the fall and stayed at the Bank Hotel. It may not be your cup of tea, but it was ours. It is on the Royal Mile and the rooms are above a pub. In fact, you have to go to the back of the pub to get upstairs. It was right out of Harry Potter. In the evening when the pub crowd had taken every seat, we walked to the back, opened a door secreted in the wall and went upstairs. Patrons who were still sober were amazed to see the panel in the wall open and we walk through it. The rooms are themed and comfortable. They are also reasonably priced. Breakfast is included and the staff are all young and extremely helpful. It was simply fun.

Would we stay there again? You bet. Want to see the rooms? Send me a private email and I will send a photo or two.

Tom in Carlisle.
