|Subject: The Writers' Landscape|
There's an article in the Telegraph (UK) about literary tours - http://tinyurl.com/2pjy6 Authors' homes and settings are offered up as package tours - Thomas Hardy, the Brontes, James Joyce, and the city of Moscow.
I've visited Hardy's cottage (atmospheric), visited Jane Austen (and Georgette Heyer's!) Bath, and stood on the cob in Lyme Regis where the French Lieutenant's woman has stood.
I haven't visited many places outside England and I guess I am not as familiar with non-English speaking writers. I'm interested though! Where have you been that still resonates with an author's creations?
