Subject: Re: World's Top 100 Wonders
I second Baerbel's hesitations in joining this threads (and I also would say that, keeping to Germany, Odenwald, or Frankische Scweiz, or Berchtesgadener Alpen, or the Mosel valley where I went back last weekend after my first , honeymoon, visit 23 years ago, are all better than Neuschwanstein); still, I can't keep from joining!

One more distinction should be made between natural wonders on one side ( what about Na Pali coast in Kauai, HI, or Lofoten islands,Norway) and man-made wonders on the other ( my vote for the works of Gaudì in Barcelona, and the Chicago "loop").

Anyway, I feel sad for having seen only 40 of Hillman's top 100 ( and ...will italian sites be valid for me?) Leonardo
