|Subject: World's Top 100 Wonders - Ziners' choice|
Linda pointed us in the direction of Hillman's choices and the
challenge went out. Here are Ziners' choices to date.
The gospel pass in Wales The Black Forest (Germany) The Suebian Alb (Germany) London (need we way more?) Copper Canyon, Mexico The Niagara Peninsula, Canada The Rockies (Canada and the U.S.) Vancouver Island (Canada) Lake District, England Florida Everglades (U.S.) Québec City (Canada) Berry College (U.S.) The Acropolis of Mycenae (Greece) The Daintree Rainforest (Australia) Odenwald, Frankische Scweiz, Berchtesgadener Alpen, Mosel Valley (Germany) The Na Pali coast, Kauai (U.S.)
I would add Bhaktapur, Nepal and the Jungfrau, Eiger and Muncsh in Switzerland.
As many Ziners have pointed out, Hillman's choices are about spectacular geographical sites. Please continue to add to the list. Don't let the travel writers control our choice of venue.
Of course, if you have a special spot that you don't want the world to know about, you can share with Ziners and we won't tell anyone else. Lucy, Toronto
