We're heading for the North Island of New Zealand this summer/winter (first two weeks in August)! Although we're Canadian - we really have no desire to return to cold weather but ....'tis the best time for my husband to take a two-week vacation and we really wanted more time in NZ so - off we go (with parkas bought in the markets of Hong Kong!).

BTW - I still have to write up our short trip to the South Island of NZ in March - time marches so fast...! We had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed our GTG with Ziners - Elizabeth and David in Christchurch.
