Thanks for the tip. I will certainly double-check the schedules. Barring any changes, we'll be on the Matanuska from Prince Rupert to Skagway July 10-11, and Skagway to Prince Rupert July 18-20. Will be in Skagway (Dyea, actually) on the 12th before beginning the hike on the 13th. If our schedules overlap, a GTG would be fun.
