|Subject: Re: Cape Cod|
I spent many summers on the Cape in my youth. Some random thoughts: At this time of year, the ocean at Nausett beach (running from hand to elbow on the outer "arm") will be almost unswimmably cold. Try Cape Cod Bay on the inner side of the "arm," or Pleasant Bay near Chatham, or some of the wonderful fresh water ponds on the Cape (there's one in the woods north of Orleans called Baker Pond). Prinvincetown is worth a visit. You could day trip over to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard via the ferries if you so desire. I don't know the restaurants these days. Simple seafood abounds, of course. And, of course, the charm of the Cape is to not do a whole lot but relax!
