|Subject: Re: country music and food|
Both country and gospel music are popular in europe. Even the tiny little village where we have a house in southwest France has a country music festival in the summer, and a gospel mass is part of their jazz festival.
As for food - it's always a highlight of our travel. Before we bought our house I used to say "I can't wait to cook in this kitchen!" And I never get tired of it. I ordered a cookbook online, perhaps from a Ziner's recommendation, that we really like : Simple French Cooking.
Also love becoming a regular at the open-air market - picking up a rotisserie chicken, then choosing a selection of fresh-from-the-farm veggies to go along with it.
Going back Sunday- can't wait! Happy travels- Anne in Virginia
