|Subject: Need hotel in London|
We'll be in London for 5 days in Sept and looking for some hotel recommendations.
We've been there before and have stayed at The Brittania, The Chauncery Court and the Royal Gardens Hotel. All of those are 5 star and were all very nice. However, with the weak dollar, I'm afraid that they might all be out of our budget for this trip - I haven't checked yet, just starting the planning this week.
I'm looking for some recommendations for nice hotels. We're not the "just give me a clean place to sleep" types - we like something a step up from that, though it doesn't have to be 5 star. A good 3 star is okay too. Doesn't have to be a large hotel with lots of rooms, could be small boutique. It does have to be better than basic and in a good central location such as Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, etc. I want to keep it in the under $250. a night range inclusive of that nasty 18% tax...... and breakfast, if possible.
Thanks, Candice NYC
