Subject: Re: Need hotel in London
Hi Candice:

Take a look at the Knightsbridge Green Hotel: http://www.thekghotel.co.uk/

My brother stayed there a few years ago and was very pleased with it - according to their web site they are running specials to offset the dollar/pound problem.

Also recommended by Karen Brown with this blurb:

"Close to Harrods and Hyde Park and just a few yards from the Knightsbridge tube station, the Knightsbridge Green Hotel stands out as a hotel where the staff is wonderfully friendly, the location superb, the price reasonable, and ice always available. With an unobtrusive front door that is almost lost on the busy street front, it is located in a tall, narrow building where an old-fashioned lift takes you from the street-level lobby to the six floors of bedrooms. Refurbishments are constantly ongoing and every bedroom is large and air-conditioned. Double glazing effectively eliminates any traffic noise. Rooms are spacious and suites have separate sitting rooms, some with a sofa bed. The decor is sunny, with pastel-washed walls and pretty fabrics, and bathrooms are sparkling and modern. An English, Continental, or Express breakfast is served in the rooms. Complimentary coffee and tea are available on request. Guests have the use of a nearby health club with fully-equipped gymnasium and swimming pool. This is a very popular hotel, so it is advisable to book well ahead. Nearest Underground Knightsbridge."
