Hi Ziners:
My experience with Priceline has been mixed: some great deals--
airport hotels at Bradley and Logan, and a top-of-the-line hotel in
Mexico City--and a not very good "three-star" Doubletree in
Portland, ME "in the middle of nowhere."
BiddingforTravel certainly helps (and I wouldn't assume a commercial
connection with Priceline--but who knows) as a guide before bidding.
Best to see what hotels are available in your chosen area on
Priceline and look for reviews (Bidding and TravelAdvisor). But of
course once you bid you are committed. So caveat emptor.
