Subject: Eden Park Hotel London |
Hello Ziners
My husband Eric and I, together with our travelling companions Kay and Bob are starting to plan a trip to the UK next year, leaving Sydney possibly in early August for 6-7 weeks. We plan to have 7 nights in London, and are looking at a deal with "Explore" holidays that seems very reasonable, for accommodation, Travelcard, London Eye ticket, theatre ticket, London Pass etc etc. One of the hotels on offer is the "Eden Park", Inverness Terrace Queensway. It is described as "3 star with 2 star prices". I am wondering if anyone has stayed there? It looks OK from the web site. We have only stayed 1 day/ night in London before, and on that occasion we spent the day on the "hop on, hop off" bus, then had an early night ready for an early start on a tour of Europe, so we are not really sure whether one area has advantages over another. Our "must do" list includes the usual major attractions - The Tower, Hamden Court Palace, Museums, Lords Cricket Grounds, Thames Cruise, theatre in the evenings, London Walks. Is the Queensway area better than say Earls Court for ease of convenience when travelling between attractions? I appreciate any comments you would like to make. Cheers, Sally (Sydney) |
