Roundabouts are a fact of life in the UK -- anyone who doesn't like
them had probably not drive here. A lot of small ones are being put
in locally (I mean very small, on normal intersections).
Some of our really big ones now have stoplights on them, which I admit helps. And they are safer than a normal intersection.
Crashes on roundabouts are few.
Oh -- they really haven't a clue about roundabouts on the Isle of Wight, strangely enough.
