|Subject: Re: USA Road Trip in November|
Thanks for your advice. We hadn't realised The weather could be so cold and stormy in November. We knew it would be cold in the north but thought it wouldn't be too bad in the mid-west and the south.
Our plan is to leave Chicago about 3 November, head south to Tennessee, perhaps follow the Mississippi to New Orleans and then travel west through Texas, New Mexico and Arizona to Los Angeles. We especially want to spend time in New Mexico as it is one of the few US states we haven't visited. Another alternative would be to fly to New Orleans instead of Chicago and have a more leisurely westward trip.
We're now giving some more thought to where we'll go.
Thanks again. Josie Figtree, Austalia
