|Subject: Re: Malpensa Airport Hotel|
The Hotel Cervo charged 3E per person for each airport shuttle trip. My husband tends to be very picky about accommodations, and he deemed the hotel satisfactory in all respects for an airport hotel & for the price paid (we didn't find a lower-priced hotel room in the area; note, Linda & Don recommend a bed and breakfast, do a search of their trip reports on the website). You will hear a bit of plane noise, of course--but the hotel building is solid enough that it didn't keep us from sleeping, and other than its proximity to the airport, the hotel is situated in an extremely quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable enough, the bathroom had been recently remodeled and featured modern, efficient facilities, everything in the room and common areas was sparkling clean, there was a computer in the lobby for Internet access at a reasonable charge, and, as stated, the front desk staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The restaurant dinner was just fine, and the (included) breakfast spread was surprisingly ample.
All in all, we give the Cervo a thumbs up for near-Malpensa lodgings.
Hope this helps, Diana
