I can only find information about train discount periods.
"The SNCF offers the largest discounts for travel started in a Blue Period time (Période Bleue), which is generally from Monday noon to Saturday noon, and Sunday until 3 pm. ...Smaller discounts are available during White Periods (Période Blanche), which are generally from noon Friday to noon Saturday, and from 3 pm Sunday to noon Monday. During a Red Period (Période Rouge) such as a long holiday weekend, there are virtually no discounts." http://www.gite.com/plantrip/travdisc.html
Perhaps another Ziner knows where to find a calendar with the big salons.
