Subject: What do you look for? |
Hi Ziners:
Regarding the thread that was discussed a few days ago, today I received an email from a friend who owns a travel agency in Buenos Aires that does a lot of receptive tourism. She tells me that almost every American tourist that visits Buenos Aires wishes to eat a steak at the restaurant "Las Lilas". This place is well known thanks to guide books. The restaurant, she says, charges exhorbitant prices, i.e., four times more than similar restaurants, the service is terrible and the meat is nothing special. This reinforces my belief that you should ask the locals and forget about books, news papers, etc written by other tourists. Graziella in Miami |
