We shall be coming to Paris from Strasbourg by train into Gare de l'Est on November 24 staying only two nights before flying back home.

I was thinking that it might have a lot of sense to stay in a hotel not too far from the Gare and not far either from l'Opera so we could take the Roissy Bus.

Of course I am aware that the stations and surrounding areas are usually seedy.

I found in the list of hotels offered by Exclusive Hotels of Charm and Character, http://www.hotels-exclusive.com the small hotel Villa Fenelon, (one of the few there rated 2 stars+, most of them are 3 and 4 stars).

It is located 23 Rue Buffault, 75009 Paris Metro Cadet and Notre Dame de Lorette.The rate in low season is most attractive at only 90 Euro, the pictures are great.

My questions are, 1) Does anyone know the area? 2) Does anyone know the Villa Fenelon?
