Subject: Re: "Must see" in NJ, FL & AZ?
Hi Jan,

Perhaps I can be a little help about Mesa, AZ. As I'm sure you know it's basically a part of Phoenix (a suburb I guess).

At any rate for a fantastic view of Phoenix and a good restaurant I'd recommend the Top of the Rock Restaurant & Bar, 2000 W Westcourt Way Tempe, AZ 85282-1005 Phone: (602)225-9000. It's pricey, but worth the experience.

We've taken the trip from Flagstaff (about a two hour drive from Phoenix) to Sedona via Oak Creek Canyon a number of times and the trip down the mountain to Sedona is well worth the trip. Breathtaking views. Sedona itself is now very touristy, but it's still very pretty.

Also of interest might be Jerome which is now somewhat of a ghost town, and currently occupied by hippies... the children of the sixties and seventies. It's pretty close to Sedona.
