Subject: Re: Providence RI eats |
Hi Jamaica,
I travel to the Boston area frequently and often spend a day with my cousin on some kind of food-related excursion (lobster rolls on the Maine coast, donut shops in Connecticut, etc.) I'm constantly collecting names of places to try, mostly garnered from watching shows on FoodTV, and, although we've haven't yet made it to Providence, the three places below have been on my list for a long time: - Caserta Pizzeria, 121 Spruce Street - Al Forno Restaurant, 577 South Main Street (supposedly the place where grilled pizza was invented) - Providence Cheese, 178 Atwells Avenue If you make it to any of these, let me know.
