I loved Portugal when we went to the Algarve a couple of years ago and I'd love to go back, but I think the north would be pretty cold in Jan. and Feb. We were staying in Portimao in Jan. and usually needed a sweater, which I didn't mind, but when we went on a day trip to Evora the temperature was only 7 Celsius.

If we can wait until March it might be better. I am saving all the information you sent, because I know we will get back there some time. There is so much to see and do, and the people were very nice.

Don't you think that is a little early in the year to go north?
