We've found a new favorite in the little village of Vias (Languedoc region of southern France) where we have a house. One morning our usual bakery was closed, so we walked around the corner to try another. They had a specialty created in the name of the village - the Viassoise. It is a rectangle of flakey pastry filled with toasted pecans and a light layer of caramel. Yum!
