I have just been advised by Heather Graham of the Foundation for the People of Burma that Pascal Khoo Thwe author of the amazing book "From The Land Of Green Ghosts" is making three North American appearances at the end of this month in, San Francisco, New York and DC. For anyone who has read the book, has been to Myanmar or is thinking of going, this promises to be a wonderful evening. I will be checking flights for New York tomorrow, isn't retirement great, don't even have to ask the boss, just tell my better half I am taking off for a few days.
