|Subject: Re: 5 days in New York|
As a life long resident of New York I have been taking the subways since I was 12 (and that is a long time). They are a fast and efficient way to get around town, however, buses are more fun. You get to see city life and it is a wonderful alternative to the tour buses. The Broadway bus passes through Upper Westside, Times Square, Flat Iron District, Union Square, The Village, Soho, China Town, Lower Manhattan. With a metro pass you can hop on and off the bus.
