Ziners, I always use Vitamin C and Zinc lozenges (available at health food stores)the day before, day of, and day after a flight plus use saline nasal spray every couple of hours during a flight. This works for me in preventing sinus and respiratory problems. I eat any and everything when traveling-can't pass up any opportunities-and never gain weight because of all the walking, I suppose.
