Hi Lucy... thanks for sharing your views. I'm curious what
you found particularly interesting about the towns and
history of the Algarve as compared to the other small towns
and history in other parts of Portugal? I found the Algarve
terrain to be rather tediously unchanging, with the
exception of the dramatic coast at Cabo San Vicente.
Having played golf in nearly every corner of the world, I have encountered few close in areas that boast as many quality courses as the Algarve (which, by the way, are much more parkland than links in style). So, my point was that the golfing opportunities were superior. peace, Joshua Monterey |
