|Subject: Low cost, no frills Asian airlines|
For those of you who may have need to fly within Asia, today's Los Angeles Times travel section has an article that may interest you about low cost intra-Asia airlines. These are new, no frills carriers similar to Southwest Airlines in the US or Ryanair and Easyjet in Europe.
They offer fares that may be 50% or less of the walk up fare on full service airlines like Singapore Airlines.

Does anyone have personal experience with these new budget airlines - Tiger Airways, AirAsia, Thai Air Asia, Valuair, JetStar or Virgin Blue?
