|Subject: Re: train travel in Europe|
We are off to Rome on Oct. 17, staying at the Hotel delle Muse once again. It will be a short stay in Rome to visit our son and then we will work our way to Vienna to visit our daughter. We had planned on leaving Rome and going to Florence and Montepulciano and then on up to Venice. I was wondering if you could buy a ticket to Venice and get off the train in Florence and then resume your trip later? I know it sounds like a silly question. Does anyone have experience in Montepulciano? I am also looking for a reasonably priced referral for a room in Florence. My husband and I do not need fancy, just clean and moderately priced.
Thanks for the help, Lynne in Gig Harbor, Wa USA
