|Subject: Re: Hadrian's Wall|
In May I drove from The Lake District to Loch Lomond, spending the night at the great hostel right on the Loch, one of my fave Scottish Youth Hostels. And as always, I wanted to stop to poke around something old, but I couldn't find an easily-accessed part of Hadrian's Wall on the western end. The area around Once Brewed & Hexham is lots of fun & much better preserved.
We had to settle for a couple of stone circles instead. There's one outside of Keswick that's not too challenging to locate, nor too long a walk.
