Subject: Prague & Budapest at Easter
Hello, I may be going on a university study tour for 8-days to Prague and Budepest. It will be an organized trip with lots of individual free time. My concern is that the end of our trip falls over the Easter weekend (we leave on the Monday following Easter). I know in many parts of Europe the Friday before through the Monday after are national holidays meaning shops, restaurants, museums, etc will be closed and public transportation and taxis limited. Does anyone know if this is the case with Prague & Budapest (I am not sure which city we will be in at that time)? If my the tour is not planned well how likely that I am going to be stuck with no place to go but my hotel lobby for three days? Erina Washington, DC
