Here (as promised :-) is my first post retirement trip
question. We will be travelling for 3.5 months in SEA and
need to keep clothing etc to a minimum as our camera
equipment will take most of our energy to carry. Does
anyone have any suggestions for really warm really
lightweight outer clothing. Don't need silk thermals etc.
as the type of cold I anticipate is in the early morning,
warming up to a scorching hot day. Would like something
ultra light in a jacket and over pant which I can slip off
and carry in my day packs as the day warms up. Surely there
must be some miracle fabric, something developed for the
space programme perhaps! Tilley Endurables don't have what
I have in mind so any suggestions would be appreciated.
