|Subject: Re: Walking holidays in Europe|
A month ago I came back from the Black Forest - on the
border of Germany, Switzerland and France. Wonderful air,
soft water with great taste, beautiful wooden villages and
little towns, waterfalls and lakes, world-famous spa resort
of Baden-Baden with hotels looking like French palaces
and... plenty! of walking possibilities with little refugios
everywhere. I think that this trip into the kingdom of
Brothers Grimm can be unforgettable. That's my suggestion.
Of course, you include a lot of tourist trails in
Switzerland and Austria.
Czech Republic has also a lot of well marked trails with nice villages and little towns.
Another great walking opportunity is Sicily. Spain invites you as well - for example, the area of Sirra Nevada near Granada, Sierra de Grazalema near Cadiz or Pyrennian area. Sincerely, Alex Elbert Jerusalem
