Hi Frank,
I would add Avila to your trip. It is only an hour or so
from Madrid, is a small, beautiful, walled city. A Unesco
World Heritage site. Very different from Toledo. You can see
it in a daytrip or spend the night and enjoy it after the
daytrippers leave. We stayed at the Parador back in 2000.
However we wished we were at the Palacio instead.
