|Subject: Re: Bags|
A number of years ago, I had always used non-rolling carry- ons, and my left shoulder finally gave out the last time I used one. I had a long, long walk to the airport gate, and my shoulder protested heartily. After that, I couldn't carry anything on that shoulder -- not even a purse -- and now I always have to use a bag with wheels. Even though Doug says they weight a lot, I have two that are almost weightless due to what they're made of.
It took years for my shoulder to finally recover, but I still won't carry anything heavy on it. I get purses with very long straps, so that I can wear them bandolier-style across my body from the *other* shoulder.
Yay, for wheeled bags -- the best traveling invention!
